Dr. Ahmed Basheer Ayyed is an Assistant Lecturer of Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dentistry, Al-Turath University, Baghdad, Iraq, and a PhD candidate in Orthodontics at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Future University (Egypt) and a Master of Science in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from Al-Azhar University, where he developed a strong foundation in both clinical orthodontics and academic research.
Dr. Ayyed is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate orthodontic education, combining evidence-based teaching with advanced clinical training. In addition to his academic role, he serves as Head of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Dentistry, contributing to curriculum development, academic accreditation, and institutional quality improvement.
