Vision
The College of Dentistry aims to serve as a national model in education, research, and specialized dental services, with a strong focus on the needs of the Iraqi community. Furthermore, the college is keen on prepare students who are capable of working in both the public and private sectors, as well as contributing to the delivery of advanced dental care in Iraq just as some of its graduates are currently serving the Iraqi community within the college itself.
Message
The mission of the College of Dentistry is to qualify and train students in accordance with rigorous scientific curricula that align with international developments in the field of dentistry, graduating them as professional dentists capable of delivering healthcare services to the community through the diagnosis of oral diseases and the provision of appropriate treatments.
Furthermore, the educational strategy of the College of Dentistry focuses on:
– Delivering high-quality medical education, clinical training, research opportunities, and community engagement. This includes curriculum development, faculty training, and student support, ensuring that graduates are fully prepared to practice the profession in a professional manner.
– Objectives related to academic excellence, clinical training, research opportunities, and community engagement, preparing students for successful career pathways in dentistry, it emphasizes a comprehensive approach, modern facilities, experienced faculty, and a commitment to ethical and compassionate patient care.

To achieve this vision, the following mission must be fulfilled:
– Graduating competent dentists capable of adopting and practicing dentistry in accordance with advanced professional standards, effectively communicating with the public, and delivering oral healthcare services within an appropriate cultural, social, and ethical framework.
– Graduating dentists capable of managing community health services by adopting a comprehensive vision of oral health, committing to the development of specialized healthcare services in this field, and contributing to raising awareness of oral and dental health.
– Graduating dentists capable of actively managing individual healthcare services through the application of scientific and research-based methodologies, grounded in expertise in case diagnosis and treatment planning.
– Graduating dentists capable of leading dental healthcare teams by fostering a spirit of teamwork, managing diverse resources, and leveraging information technology for effective communication and administration.
